PLEASE NOTE WHEN BOOKING:
Refunds for cancellations are no longer issued for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date/time booked.
If you need to cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your booking start we will offer to migrate your payment to cover another suitable date – subject to availability.
Should the pool need to close for technical or safety reasons we will migrate your booking to a mutually suitable date, or at the discretion of the trustees, offer you a refund.

Dear Customer at Hay Swimming Pool.

Firstly Thank You for supporting our Community Pool. The private hire sessions are kept low priced to enable families and community members to access healthy exercise and family fun. We do not want to be in a position where we have to increase charges to cope with maintenance issues.

Volunteers work hard to keep the pool going for the benefit of local schools and local families. From time to time after private hire sessions we find the pool area in a terrible mess at the end of the day. Toys are broken and left lying around, floors are muddy and toilets are left un-flushed. This is not acceptable.

 

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU TREAT THE POOL AND FACILITIES WITH RESPECTFOR OTHERS THAT MAY FOLLOW YOUR HIRE SESSION, OR THOSE THAT HAVETO CLEAN UP AT THE END OF THE DAY.  PLEASE NOTE POOL USERS MUST NOT PARK IN THE SCHOOL CAR PARK (BEHIND THE BARRIER) AS THIS IS NOT PART OF THE SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX. 

 

Please fill in the arrival and departure register that we leave on the table just inside the pool area and leave comments about the condition of the pool area to help us monitor the pool environment. If you have arrived at the pool for a private hire session and have found it is not clean and tidy we apologise – please understand that we rely on customers to behave in a responsible and respectful manner. You can call trustees if there is a problem, their numbers are displayed at the pool building.

• Never throw toys at the ventilation equipment above the pool

• Remove shows and outdoor clothing as you enter the changing rooms

• Fill in the register for entry and exit of facility which we leave on the table in the pool area

• Report any breakages – we understand that most are accidental but appreciate financial recompense for replacements or repair of items and equipment

• Treat the pool and facilities with respect at all times
